Registration

 

1. How do I register?

You can register online here.

LIGHTRUNNERS.COM is our IT partner and manages the online registration portal.

 

2. How can I make payment?

After you have completed registration, online payment can be made with PayPal, VISA and MasterCard. All applicable taxes are included in the pricing.

 

3. Do I need to register again if I have registered my interest prior to the start of online registration?

For those participants who have registered your interest, we will send you an email to complete the sign up and payment. You do not need to sign up through the event portal again.

 

4. How much are the registration fees? Will there be any early bird discount?

5. Can I make changes to my personal particulars after submitting my registration?

Please send us an email at 3TenRun@gmail.com. All participants are to make changes by 30 November 2015.

 

6. Why is it that I have not received my confirmation slip despite registering and making payment?

There could be several reasons:

  • Your registration was not successful

  • The confirmation slip might have been diverted to the “Junk” folder

  • The email has been blocked by your mail server and / or treated as spam

  • There might have been an error in your email address

  • NRIC/Passport No.

Please allow at least 3 - 5 working days for us to get back to you.

 

7. Do I need to fill up any relevant indemnity declaration form and require parental/guardian consent if I’m below the age of 18?

Yes, participants below the age of 18 and above 4 are required to seek parental/guardian consent. They would need to acknowledge during the registration steps during registration, failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse race entry to the participant.

 

8. Can I transfer my registration to another person?

No. Race entries are strictly non-transferable. All registered participant's personal information such as medical condition are tag to the race entry and completing on behalf of the registered participant is not permitted. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the race entry and/or refuse entry into the start pen for transferred race entries.

 

9. Is the payment gateway secure?

Yes. Our site is SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) coded, a security protocol that is used and reflected by HTTP Secure (https) in the website address to represent a secure connection.

 

10. Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

No. All race entries are strictly non-refundable, once it’s completed.

 

11. How will I know if my entry has been accepted?

You will receive a confirmation slip upon your successful registration. Successful applicants will also be able to login here to print out your race confirmation slip. Note that you will need to produce your printed confirmation slip together with your NRIC/Passport when you collect your Race Entry Pack.

 

12. Can I authorise someone to collect my race pack on my behalf?

Yes, you could authorise another person to collect on your behalf. Please have the authorised person to bring along their identification document such as NRIC or passport and your confirmation slip.

 

13. For the Family Fun Run, the registration fee covers 1 adult and 1 children?

Yes, it covers the entry fee for 1 adult and 1 children below the age of 18 age old. For every 1 such entry, participants can have up to 2 more person that tag to this entry at a fee of $20 per pax (can be either an adult or children).

 

 

About the Race

 

1. When will 3 Ten Run 2015 be held?

19th December 2015, Saturday. The main run will be flagged off at 7:15pm.

 

2. Where will the run be held?

Orchid Country Club. 1 Orchid Club Road, Singapore 769162.

 

3. Will there be a Finisher T-shirt or Finisher Medal given out to participants?

A finisher medal will be given out to participants who have completed the run.

 

4. How many Race Categories are there?

There is only one competitve race category, the 10km Individual OPEN. The other category is the family fun run.

 

5. What is the minimum age to participate in the 3 Ten Run 2015?

You have to be 13 years and above as of 16 January 2015 to participate in the 10km Individual OPEN. The minimum age for the family fn run is 4 and above.

 

6. What time does the race start?

1km Family Fun run - 6:00pm

10km Individual OPEN - 7:15pm

 

7. Will there be an official photographer?

Yes.

 

8. Can I skate or cycle during the race instead?

No.

 

9. Can I bring along my pets?

You cannot bring along your pets during the run.

 

10. Is there baggage service during the run?

Yes. There will be baggage service during the event.

 

11. What is a Race Pack?

It is a pack containing necessary items for your race. This includes your race identifier, an event running singlet and other items.

 

12. Where and when is the 3 Ten Run 2015 Race Pack Collection point?

More details will be provided soon. Please check here too.

 

13. How will my race timing be recorded?

A timing system will capture the race timing for each of the participants.

 

14. What if I am injured during the run or otherwise unable to finish the run?

First aiders will be deployed along the route. Participants who are in need of immediate attention can alert the route marshals.

 

15. Is there a cut-off time for the 3 Ten Run 2015?

Yes, The cut off time at the Start Point will be as follows:

  • Family Fun Run/Walk - 6:20pm

  • 10km Individual OPEN - 8:00pm

 

16. Where can we park during the run?

Participants are advised to take MRT to the Khatib MRT where shuttle buses will fetch you to the club. Alternatively, there will be parking along the road leading to the Orchid Country Club and the club car park. Please note that the parking lots are limited. Lastly, there are also HDB parking near to the Orchid Country Club.

1. What is LightRunners?

LightRunners is a global initiative to create a community to support one another and to contribute towards a common goal of helping the less fortunate. Besides participating in the meaningful activities, this portal provides support to SMEs, update on beneficiary and sponsors’ latest movement, limited edition or great promotional products and services, contests, lucky draws and discounted rate to join all our activities.

 

 

 

 

Volunteers

 

1. What do I do if I do not have an existing bank account?

Please email to 3TenRun@gmail.com to request for assistance.

 

2. I have yet to pass my 15th birthday on the event, can I still volunteer?

Yes, you can. However, the minimum age requirement requires you to be 15 as of 31 December 2014, so not all roles will be available to you. We will assess this on a case-by-case basis.

 

3. I wish to get my whole class to volunteer, is there any way I can do that without going through the portal?

Yes, you can. Drop us an email at 3TenRun@gmail.com and we will get back to you.

 

4. What am I entitled to if I volunteer?

Please refer here for the entitlement.

 

5. When will I be able to get my volunteer allowance?

You should be able to get your allowance within 20 working days after the event, if you have provided the correct bank details.

 

6.Are the measurements for the T-shirt sizes in inches or centimetres?

The measurements for the T-shirt sizes are in inches.

 

7. How will I be notified of briefing details?

Information on briefing dates and related key dates will be sent to you via the email address that you have provided to us. SMS reminders will also be sent out to the mobile number that you have indicated.

 

8. What do I do if I have keyed in the wrong information during registration?

You may drop us an email at 3TenRun@gmail.com and we will update the information accordingly.

 

9. What are the timings for the pre-event days (Race Kit Pack Collection)?

For Race Kit Pack Collection, the timing is tentatively from 11am to 7pm.

 

10. What is the reporting time for event day roles?

Depending on the role, volunteers may need to report at 2:00pm on 19th December 2015.
